Our attic master bedroom has seen minimal changes since we moved in last year. We painted the beige walls and the neglected trim white, but kept the green accent wall behind the bed. I hesitated at first and wanted as many changes as possible to make the house our own, but it has grown on me over the last several months. The current plan is to repaint the wall a deeper green color or maybe even play around with some tools this summer to create a shiplap wall.
Here are some swoon-worthy olive green bedrooms I found.

This cozy cottage vibe is making me rethink my urban modern style! I love the antique pieces and the gold and mustard accents against the green. It’s definitely a look I would go for in a future cabin or vacation home.

This is more in line with the style of our home and I am so obsessed with that headboard! I believe that simplicity goes a long way and this is a perfect example of the calming effect it has. I’m all in for olive green, light woods, and black accents.

I adore the eclectic boho style and try to channel it with textured blankets and pillows around our home. There is a special place in my heart for geometric shapes and they look so playful and inviting with the green wall!

This is a lighter green and it’s gorgeous! The juxtaposition between the perfectly imperfect bed and the clean lines of the mid-century modern night stand does it for me. I think I’m firmly on Team Shiplap for now.
Master Bedroom Mood Boards
Here are some ideas for my upcoming master bedroom refresh. Aside from the wall, the main things we need to add are night stands and wall sconces. We’re going with giant pillows in lieu of a headboard since the bed is located in front of a low window. The rugs are optional given the tight space and carpet floors, so it’ll be the last thing to consider.
